January 22, 2025The RMIT Redbacks Cheer & Dance team delivered an unforgettable performance at the 2024 Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation (AASCF) State Championships, competing against top universities across Victoria. Over three electrifying days, the Redbacks showcased their talent in Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Cheer, and more, bringing their best to the floor and earning an impressive haul of awards.
Redbacks’ Results at the AASCF State Championships:
🥇 Gold: Cheer (Level 1|2)
🥈 Silver: Premier Jazz
🥈 Silver: Premier Lyrical
🥈 Silver: Open Uni Hip Hop
🥉 Bronze: Premier Pom
🥉 Bronze: Cheer (Level 3|4)
🏅 4th Place: Premier Hip Hop
🏅 5th Place: Open Uni Pom
Vice President of Cheer Club at RMIT Active, Aishwarya Rao-Nandkumar, expressed her pride in the team:
