This marks the third consecutive year the Friars have reached the finals, and they showcased their most challenging routine to date.
The team’s outstanding performance earned them a spot in the Small Coed Division 1 Finals, where they competed against top-tier teams. After impressing the judges in the Semifinals, the Friars advanced to the final round, where they solidified their position as one of the nation’s best, placing ninth in a highly competitive division.
“We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come as a team,” said the coaching staff. “Making it to the finals for three years in a row is a huge achievement, and this year’s performance was by far our most difficult yet. We’re excited to continue building on this success in the coming seasons.”
Providence College’s cheerleaders are looking forward to using the momentum from this year’s Nationals to further elevate their skills and continue to represent their school at the highest level of collegiate cheerleading.
