LEXINGTON, Ky. – Fifteen talented alumni from the University of Kentucky Dance Team will take the spotlight this season, representing NFL and NBA cheerleading squads for the 2024-25 season.
Several former Wildcats are returning for their fourth consecutive seasons with professional teams. Lily Johnson, a member of the UK Dance Team from 2014-2018, will be cheering with the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders for her fourth year. Holly Michel, another UK alum from 2014-2018, is also in her fourth season with the Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleaders.
Joining Michel on the Bengals squad is Olivia Medley, who danced for UK from 2016-2019 and enters her third season with the Ben-Gals.
In Dallas, Kleine Powell, who was with UK from 2017-2021, begins her fourth season as part of the iconic Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Meanwhile, DaVanna Lockett (2018-2022) and Marlee Scholten (2019-2023) will both be in their second year with the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders.
Madelyn Anderson (2019-2023) starts her second season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders, while Kennedy Grieman (2019-2023) will represent the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders in her second year.
Also returning for a second season, Annie Walton (2019-2023) will dance with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Allison Broadhurst (2019-2023) will cheer with the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders. Janelle McKinney, another UK alum from 2019-2023, joins Broadhurst for her second season with the Colts.

Christie Horan, who danced at UK from 2010-2014, begins her second season as head coach of the Washington Commanders’ Command Force dance team.
Additionally, three UK Dance Team alumni will make their professional debuts this season. Libby Jaggers, who danced for UK from 2021-2024, will cheer with the Cincinnati Bengals, while Ava Lahey (2022-2024) joins the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Madelyn Trent, who danced at UK from 2021-2024, will be the first UK alum to join the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders.
These talented alumni are continuing to inspire as they take their dance skills to the professional level, representing their alma mater on some of the biggest stages in sports entertainment.
