The Kansas City Chiefs cheerleaders have established a distinctive tradition to honor their team’s Super Bowl appearances: acquiring tattoos that symbolize each occasion. This practice was highlighted by veteran cheerleader Stefanie Hills, who shared insights into this ritual.

In a TikTok video, Hills explained, “We have this crazy tradition where we get tattoos every time we go to a Super Bowl. Last year, we went to Definitive Tattoo Gallery and we absolutely loved it, so we’re back!” The video showcased the cheerleaders gathering at the tattoo studio, ready to receive their commemorative ink.

It’s noteworthy that participation in this tradition is entirely voluntary. Hills emphasized, “It is not a requirement to get a tattoo and there is absolutely no pressure. However, I would say the majority of our team got tatted.” Even their athletic trainer, Michaela, joined in, opting for a Vegas-themed tattoo featuring the number 34 to represent the team’s members.

This tattoo tradition not only serves as a personal memento for the cheerleaders but also underscores the camaraderie and unity within the squad as they celebrate their team’s achievements on football’s biggest stage.
