
Beloit Turner Cheerleading Heads to State Championship for Third Consecutive Year

Cheer teams from Rutherford County Schools showcased their exceptional talent and hard work at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando this month. The competition saw several Rutherford County squads earn top honors, with Rockvale Middle School taking home both national and world titles, marking a historic achievement for the team.
In the Junior High Non-Tumbling division, Rockvale Middle made an impressive statement by clinching both the National and World Champion titles. Meanwhile, Blackman High School celebrated its 11th national title in the Small Co-Ed Division, continuing its dominance in the cheerleading scene. Riverdale High also stood out by winning the Large Varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day Division I title.

- Blackman: 4th place in Middle School Large Division
- Christiana: Competed in Junior High Non-Tumbling
- Eagleville: 12th place in Junior High Non-Tumbling Game Day
- Oakland: 5th place in Junior High Non-Tumbling
- Rockvale: Junior High Non-Tumbling National and World Champions
- Stewarts Creek: 13th place in Junior High Non-Tumbling
High School Results:
- Blackman: Small Co-Ed Division Champion (11th title)
- Central Magnet: 6th place in Non-Tumbling Division II
- Oakland: 13th place in Small Varsity Non-Tumbling
- Riverdale: Large Varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day DI National Champions
- Rockvale: 8th place in Division I Large Varsity
- Siegel: 3rd place in Small Varsity Non-Tumbling
- Smyrna: Second place in Small Co-Ed Game Day and 8th place in Small Coed Intermediate Crowd Leading at NCA contest in Dallas
In addition to their success at the UCA National Championship, Smyrna High School also competed at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) contest in Dallas, Texas, where they earned second place in the Small Co-Ed Game Day and eighth place in Small Coed Intermediate Crowd Leading.
