October 18, 2025The Cheerleading Pom Doubles Final at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, brought together some of the best cheerleading duos from around the world in a vibrant display of skill, synchronization, and spirit.

Representing the United States, the dynamic duo Sydney Martin and Allison Hoeft claimed the gold medal, showcasing flawless technique and outstanding energy that captivated both the judges and the audience. Their powerful performance stood out among tough international competition, securing the top spot for Team USA.
The silver medal went to Jennifer Garcia and Fabiana Velez from Ecuador, who impressed with their precision and rhythm, marking a historic achievement for their country in cheerleading at The World Games. Meanwhile, Australia’s Shayla Myerscough and Emily Growdon took home the bronze medal, completing a strong and diverse podium lineup.

The medalists proudly posed together during the award ceremony, smiling beneath the lights of Chengdu’s arena—a moment celebrating not only athletic excellence but also the growing global reach of cheerleading as a competitive sport.
